Trust & Security

Data Security

How edazent protects your agency workspace — student records, financial data, documents, and portal communications.

Last updated July 10, 2026

Encryption everywhere

Data encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest on secure cloud infrastructure.

Agency RBAC

Role-based permissions for admin, counselor, finance, and office staff.

Tenant isolation

Each consultancy workspace is logically separated from other agencies.

Our commitment

Education and migration agencies trust edazent with sensitive student passports, visa documents, financial records, and partner commission data. Protecting that information is central to how we build and operate the platform.

Security is not a checkbox — it is embedded in our architecture, access controls, monitoring, and incident response processes.

Encryption

All data transmitted between your browser, our API, and connected services is encrypted using TLS 1.2 or higher. This applies to agency staff sessions, student portal access, and real-time chat.

Data at rest — including database records, uploaded documents, and backups — is encrypted using industry-standard algorithms provided by our cloud infrastructure.

Document uploads

Passports, academic transcripts, offer letters, and other files uploaded by counselors or students are stored in encrypted object storage with access controlled by your agency permissions.

Access control

edazent uses role-based access control (RBAC) so agency staff only access data relevant to their job:

  • Admin — full workspace configuration, user management, and settings.
  • Counselor — student pipelines, applications, documents, and communications.
  • Finance — invoices, receipts, commission records, and payment configuration.
  • Office staff — front-desk operations with scoped permissions.
  • Portal users — students, partner agents, counselors, and suppliers see only records your agency grants.

Multi-factor authentication

MFA is supported for staff accounts. We recommend enabling it for all admin and finance users to add a layer of protection beyond passwords.

Workspace isolation

Each agency operates in a dedicated tenant workspace. Student records, leads, financial data, and documents from one consultancy are not accessible to other agencies on the platform.

API requests are scoped to the authenticated tenant. Cross-tenant data access is prevented at the application and database layers.

Infrastructure

edazent runs on secure cloud infrastructure with:

  • Network segmentation and firewall rules limiting exposure.
  • Regular security patches and dependency updates.
  • Automated monitoring for anomalies, failed logins, and service health.
  • DDoS protection and rate limiting at the edge.
  • Principle of least privilege for internal system access.

Backups & recovery

Automated daily backups protect against data loss. Point-in-time recovery capabilities allow restoration to a known good state in the event of accidental deletion or corruption.

Backup data is encrypted and stored separately from production systems. Recovery procedures are tested periodically.

Audit & activity logging

Key actions within agency workspaces — such as login events, permission changes, and sensitive data access — are logged for security review and compliance purposes.

Agency administrators can review activity relevant to their workspace. Detailed audit exports may be available on Enterprise plans.

Compliance & privacy alignment

We follow data protection best practices aligned with GDPR principles and regional privacy requirements relevant to our agency customers in Bangladesh, Malaysia, Australia, and other markets.

As a processor of student data entered by your agency, we support your compliance obligations through security controls, data export, and deletion assistance on request.

For data processing terms or security questionnaires required by your institution partners, contact hello@edazent.com.

Shared responsibility

edazent secures the platform infrastructure. Your agency is responsible for strong passwords, MFA adoption, appropriate staff permissions, and lawful collection of client data.
